It’s full of racists, sexists, homophobes, assholes, cats (maybe this one isn’t a negative), and the most perverse porn you can imagine. Porn used to be dirty magazines and dirty films. But you still had to face the shame of buying those. Eventually you could use your cable provider to watch from home fairly anonymously (that is, until the bill came).

So I thought I would list the top 15 franchises that get made

Avatar comes in at number 7. It's kinda disturbing how many kids shows are in this list. But if you haven't seen the show, I'll say that Avatar is possibly the best action/adventure children's show I've seen in maybe 15 years. And I don't say this lightly, it's one of those shows you've just got to see, and see through to the end because it just gets better and better. Anyhow, Azula seems to be the most popular making it all the way to the #10 as an individual character. Again it's kinda sad to see her used this way considering what an awesome villain she made on the show.

This franchise single handedly made me decide to limit it to one position per franchise. Because if I just did a top 10 individual characters, My Little Pony would take up the vast majority of the list. "How could this happen" you might ask. Well first they take characters who look like this

It's a disturbing world out there . . . I personally am not a Brony(A male My little pony fan) But I respect them for being proud of liking what they like. It's funny how people tend to do a lot of judging of the Bronies and then they have no trouble watching Frozen a dozen times.

Once again proving that video games rule this list we have Samus from Medroid. The 2nd most popular character in all rule 34age. I have the same problem with this as I did with so many of the other strong female characters. She's such a non-sexualized and independent character in the games. It's just kinda off-putting to see her in such perverse positions. But she's the 2nd most popular sex symbol of the rule 34 world. It even makes me wonder if most people who come to Rule 34 sites, are doing so directly after playing video games. Anyway our pirate blasting, mech suit wearing heroine comes in at #2.
But finally the most popular girl in all of rule 34, (who's also probably the most well known girl in video gaming as well....)

As it turns out, a lot of these guys are really into classic gaming. And can you be all that surprised. I mean Super Mario is probably the largest franchise in all of gaming history. The original princess in peril, Princess Peach is the #1 viewed and loved girl in all rule 34dom. And it's not even like it's a close race. Princess Peach is in the lead BY FAR!
I don't know what the great Shigeru Miyamoto would think of all the filthy things they've done with his character but to be honest....

So what have we learned? For one, it seems that most Rule 34er's come here after playing Nintendo, or watching children's cartoons. Also non-human characters are REALLY popular on the internet.
